Executive Principal
Dan has over 25 years’ experience working in South London schools, including over 15 in senior leadership positions. He entered the sector as a geography teacher taking on responsibility for whole school vocational education before achieving Advanced Skills Teacher status and holding management positions as a Head of Department, faculty and as a Head of Year. He has worked in a range of settings including the founding SLT of at an outstanding Harris academy. As Interim Principal in a CofE academy
Dan developed his commitment to values-led leadership, gaining status as London’s first secondary school with the Values Based Education Quality Mark. Dovetailing with his leadership roles, Dan also set up and ran a successful business producing data analysis for schools. He was founding Principal at South Bank Engineering UTC overseeing an ambitious new school curriculum vision and building programme.
As Executive Principal Dan is working to support further improvements and developments at trust level as part of the ground-breaking London South Bank University Group, and is particularly excited to support innovative social mobility and career pathway projects.
